WHAT IS THAT THING?
im jack solluxander west, or, the creature who lurks in this website [it/he]. ive been hanging around on this planet since january 6th, 2007. i enjoy being generally strange and offputting in my free time, i love doing art and im also [very slowly] learning how to use sfm. i collect many things both irl and digitally, which includes merchandise and physical media [like vinyls, cds, blu-rays, etc]. i have one cat and four dogs, though one of the dogs acts like an alien from a different galaxy on occasion so im not sure what she really is.
my identity is pretty complicated, but to sum it up im mostly a queer transgender something-or-other guygirlthingcreature. and im objectum. i love my 'puter :)
i have many ailments and afflictions in my brain and body and i talk about them as if im a sickly victorian woman on my fainting couch. that being said, im not in the business of telling everyone online all thats wrong with me, even if it does mess with my self perception something nasty. i am open about being autistic though. i consider it important to my identity, and understanding why i act the way i do.

video games: FNAF, DSAF, portal/portal 2, will you snail, dialtown, stardew valley, minecraft, skyrim, uhh...... idk i dont play a whole lot of games
movies: i would consider my favorite 4 movies to be re-animator, electric dreams, 2001: a space odyssey and ghostbusters. childs play 2, evil dead 2, and a whole lot of other movies would be up there as well. im a huge fan of horror and robots. i log any movie i watch on letterboxd so if youre ever so curious as to what i watch you can check that.
music: i listen to a lot of bands and genres. here are some in no particular order: talking heads, oingo boingo, ween, machine girl, 100 gecs, the prodigy, death grips, suburban lawns, wall of voodoo, rinse & repeat, lemon demon, JPEGMAFIA, system of a down, smash mouth, andrew w.k., the garden, danny brown, marina, etc etc... theres a lot more. i listen to music a lot. as with my letterboxd my musical activity is logged on my last.fm if youre so inclined.
shows: i really dont watch many tv shows. the only ones ive watched in a while were my little pony, futurama, and spongebob. ive been meaning to rewatch invader zim and the amazing world of gumball and my friends have almost convinced me to watch some of their shows. almost.
misc: warrior cats has been a book series ive loved since i was a little kid. it was almost all i would check out at the library. im a good couple arcs behind nowadays but ill get back up to speed. other things i like include coding (this is a lie), data organization, art, thrifting, writing (occasionally), and just generally plastering everything i have in stickers and personalization. i guess you could call it scrapbooking, at least when i do that to my sketchbook.
